Kamiak Butte Trail Series

Spring is here. Snow is melting.  The Kamiak Butte Trail Series starts this week!

I scouted the trail yesterday to make sure it was in decent post-winter shape -- and everything looks to be in great shape.

It was a nice day to capture some photos of the course.

    Stumbled upon your blog, glad I did. My German Shorthair Pointer is 6 YO, he runs with me on ever run. For every 10 miles I run, he logs probably 25! I read your account of the Goblin Ultra and hope you wouldn't mind sharing some tips with me concerning Sadie's racing. My point of view is that if I heat stroke, dehydrate or tear a ligament while racing, that's my own fault. If I let something like that happen to the dog, well, that's unforgiveable. i'm headed out to Utah in October and am keen on running an ultra with Cole (greatest pointer on the planet).
