I received some exciting news earlier this week. I have been selected to be a part of the Brooks Inspire Daily (I.D.) program. (Check out the great little video, too.) This just makes me so excited. I've been running in Brooks since day one and, along with my dad, credit the Brooks Cascadia for helping me discover running as a core part of who I am. Just one more reason to keep running.
So, here I am. Still running. Putting in the miles as I close in on my first 100k attempt. I ran another 30+ miles on Saturday and my legs are feeling good. I can hear South Africa getting closer and closer, too.
I'm in a good mood today. I think I'll go for a run.
Keep running!
Scott
That's great news with the Brooks program. Good luck with your 100k training. Enjoy your run!
ReplyDeleteWhat is this?! I wanted to hear about Grandma and all that jazz :P KIDDING!
ReplyDeleteThe Brooks ID dealy looks coolio, foolio! ;D
You inspire me daily.
ReplyDeleteBrooks are da BOMB! And so are chocolate chip cookies! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for you Scott!! Sounds like it's all coming together well. You are gonna be great!
ReplyDeleteBrooks just got a good deal hiring you on! My first trail shoe was the Brooks Cascadia 1. Now it's the Brooks Cascadia 4. And my first road shoe was Brooks Vantage which I used for my first marathon back in 1980. Now it's the Brooks Adenaline GTS 9. They are exceptional. So along with my new coronary arteries, Brooks is all I need for running around the block to ultras.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your 100K. Wish I could be there...Dad
You deserve it, ultraman!! :-)
