So, what do I do with my first ever taper week? Go to the playground!
I wish there was a shot of my back flip dismount from the swing. Actually, it was a double back flip twist.
Not running never felt so good. I think I may join the circus. Just kidding. But seriously, I might.
Keep tapering!
Scott
Thanks for the comment on my pool training blog. I haven't started yet, but I'm actually looking forward to pool running as it will be the nearest thing to running I have done in what feels like forever.
ReplyDeleteI am very, very jealous of you and your romp around the playground!
Happy tapering!
ROFLMAO! HAHAHAHA! Dude, that is the happiest I've seen anyone tapering.
ReplyDeleteBTW Grandma got you the Power Wheels Little Quad for Christmas :P
That rollie thing looks like quite a workout. Now be careful out there, last thing we need is injury while tapering on the playground. :>P
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny. Enjoy the taper! :)
ReplyDeleteYour taper week looks like my typical training week. The JFK will be fun..right? Like a day at the park :)
ReplyDeletegood for you. I LOVE SWINGS!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. I love the swings.
ReplyDeleteYou need to be careful out there on the playground. You never know when you might take a nasty fall off the swing or slide :) Looks like you're enjoying the taper. Watch out JFK!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing Rob. You need to watch your landings on those dismounts. Now is not the time to twist an ankle/knee. Lets have no more of that ludicrous behaviour so close to your 50 miler!
ReplyDeleteNow, that's the way to taper!
ReplyDeleteHahah Whooo hoo tapering! Love the pictures! It looks like Sadie had fun too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a blast. Great use of the extra energy. Now, just don't hurt yourself, deary. :D
ReplyDeleteGawd, with all this free time, you've turned into a posting machine. I'm so far behind on giving you crap...
Yessssss this is happiness! Tapering....magic word (or world?).
ReplyDeleteSadie looks like she's enjoying the play time as well! Did she snap the pics?
ReplyDeleteNow that is a nice taper!! Eat and rest. You will do great!!!!
ReplyDeleteJFK stories were shared in the trail this past weekend by others. Can not wait to read your report already!!
I didn't know you were available to take kids to the park! That would be so much fun for you...we could probably line up quite a few, you could spend a few hours chasing them around, breaking up fights, wiping away tears...wait...what were we talking about again?
ReplyDeleteyou sure know how to taper!
ReplyDeleteDamn, that looks like fun, dude! Can I have a try?
ReplyDeleteGood for you for tapering! I'm not sure why it's so hard for so many people; other than nerves, I've always enjoyed it as well :) Love the pictures on your site!
ReplyDeletejoan
Are you still at the play gorund??
ReplyDeleteFunny stuff Scott. I'll be taking your advice in the spring.
